Christian Dior seeks Retail Merchandiser for Textiles & Millinery in Paris. Drive category growth through strategic merchandising and analytics in hybrid role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce and optimize performance analyses for weekly leadership reviews, including global results by zone, product typology, and collection
  • Partner with geographic zones to cascade merchandising strategy and consolidate qualitative feedback on performance, opportunities, and competitive dynamics
  • Identify corrective actions, propose tactical replenishment, and monitor the performance of permanent inventory in coordination with supply chain teams
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and manage forecast accuracy by product line and typology alongside the Sales Planning team
  • Prepare showroom documentation, conduct collection analyses, and review buying plans for each of the four annual buying sessions
  • Support the development of Buying Strategy presentations to global zones and participate in assortment reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, and Zone teams on category initiatives
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising on product launches and ad-hoc promotional pushes
  • Participate in bi-annual inventory clearance arbitrations and annual repricing reviews
  • Contribute product briefs to the Design Studio with quantitative data and market opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in business administration or engineering
  • 2–4 years of merchandising experience in a central or zone role within the luxury sector
  • Product sensitivity and demonstrated mastery of the luxury and fashion markets
  • Knowledge of textile accessories and ready-to-wear
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional numeracy and data discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI is advantageous
  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken)
