Role & Responsibilities
- Manage retail design projects from initial brief through construction completion, ensuring alignment with Dior architectural guidelines and brand standards
- Develop comprehensive project briefs and strategic implementation plans in collaboration with the Central design team, accounting for technical, regulatory, and operational requirements
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with sales teams, stores, landlords, and department stores to identify project needs and requirements
- Prepare and present design proposals, construction documents, and project updates to the Division Director, General Manager, and senior leadership
- Lead all preparations and presentations for VIP retail environment visits, maintaining exceptional presentation quality
- Oversee supplier performance and manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle, including construction professionals and material suppliers
- Manage CAPEX budgets, conduct competitive bidding through the Purchasing division, and maintain strict cost control without compromising quality standards
- Conduct quality assurance inspections at production factories and on-site construction locations
- Ensure compliance with Japan's Building Standard Law, fire regulations, and local planning requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution, providing optimal solutions
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an architect, preferably in luxury retail or high-end commercial design
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD with ability to prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Advanced knowledge of building codes, regulatory standards, and Japan's Building Standard Law, including fire regulations
- Strong 3D design capability and visualization skills using tools such as SketchUp
- Native-level Japanese and advanced English proficiency, with ability to conduct technical discussions and deliver presentations to international stakeholders

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an architect in luxury retail or high-end commercial environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing retail design projects from conception through completion, with proven ability to collaborate with international teams and navigate complex regulatory requirements.
