Christian Dior Couture seeks experienced Reception Host at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris for Restaurant Monsieur Dior and Café Dior.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and manage client reservations by telephone, online platforms, and in-person at both venues
- Welcome, orient, and seat guests with refined hospitality and attention to detail
- Manage cloakroom services and guest coat/personal item check-in
- Present menus and beverage offerings in the absence of the Maître d'Hôtel
- Provide comprehensive support to service staff before, during, and after each service
- Monitor and ensure client satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Promote restaurant services, seasonal offerings, and special events to enhance guest engagement
- Communicate relevant client requests and operational information across all 30 Avenue Montaigne departments and teams
- Participate in the creation and distribution of venue marketing materials including menus and promotional flyers
- Report any safety concerns, unusual situations, or accident risks to management immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of reception or hospitality experience in a luxury establishment
- Fluent in French and English; knowledge of a third language is advantageous
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and anticipatory planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and manage cross-functional coordination
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in luxury hospitality in a reception or host capacity, with demonstrated expertise in managing guest services, reservations, and inter-departmental coordination in upscale dining environments.
Education
Secondary education (Baccalauréat or equivalent) preferred; professional hospitality certifications or training in luxury service standards are valued.
