Role & Responsibilities
- Lead quality validation gates across the new product development lifecycle, defining entry/exit criteria and corrective action plans.
- Identify, evaluate and mitigate quality risks for new product introductions using structured methodologies (e.g., FMEA).
- Develop and maintain Acceptance Books and technical quality documentation for new SKUs, specifying tolerances, treatments and inspection criteria.
- Coordinate cross‑functional evaluations with design, marketing and production teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented.
- Benchmark competitive product quality and integrate market expectations into acceptance criteria.
- Drive proactive quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement in development processes to prevent non‑conformities.
- Align product quality across multiple product poles/lines and ensure readiness for industrialization and market launch.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience in product quality or quality development, preferably within luxury leather goods or high‑end fashion.
- Proven expertise in risk assessment and mitigation techniques, including practical use of FMEA.
- Demonstrated experience preparing technical documentation such as Acceptance Books and quality validation reports.
- Strong ability to lead cross‑functional reviews and influence design-to-production decisions.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable industry quality standards and regulations for apparel and leather goods.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive experience in product quality, quality engineering or quality development roles, ideally within luxury leather goods, accessories or high‑end apparel. Demonstrated responsibility for new product quality gates, risk management and preparation of acceptance criteria for product launches.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline; a master's degree or equivalent technical specialization is an advantage.
