Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the sourcing and purchasing strategy for an assigned material category (leathers & fabrics, metallic accessories or other components).
  • Negotiate framework agreements, prices and commercial terms with strategic suppliers to secure optimal contractual conditions.
  • Assess, monitor and develop supplier production capacity and quality capabilities, ensuring alignment with seasonal needs.
  • Coordinate supplier capacity planning to avoid overloads or under-utilisation and mitigate production risks.
  • Identify and qualify new sourcing opportunities that meet the brand’s quality, sustainability and innovation requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Planning, Quality and Compliance teams to ensure procurement aligns with collection timelines and standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and support supplier audits together with the Compliance team.
  • Analyse market trends and supply‑chain risks to inform sourcing decisions and contract renewal strategies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic purchasing or sourcing, preferably within fashion or luxury goods.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills with experience managing framework agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of market dynamics for the assigned category and supplier ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI (or equivalent analytics tools).
  • English at B2 level minimum; knowledge of French considered a plus.
