Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Purchasing and Logistics Intern (6‑month internship starting July 2026) to optimise logistics flows and storage.
Role & Responsibilities
- Map and analyse current logistics flows including transports, relocations and shuttle services to identify inefficiencies.
- Collect, cleanse and analyse quantitative data on volumes, categories and destinations to characterise logistical demand.
- Assess service‑line needs across internal stakeholders to define specific logistical constraints and requirements.
- Develop and propose optimisation scenarios for transport, storage and shuttle operations focused on cost reduction and resource efficiency.
- Analyse relocation processes and resource allocation to recommend improvements for internal moves and site reorganisations.
- Contribute to warehouse storage and de‑stocking process optimisation to maximise space utilisation and streamline stock handling.
- Support non‑production purchasing activities related to general services and site logistics.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme specialising in supply chain, purchasing, logistics or equivalent.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in data collection, analysis and deriving actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and influence stakeholders.
- Organisational aptitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a practical approach to operational issues.
