Christian Dior Couture seeks an experienced Project Manager for Collections in Florence to lead end-to-end execution of fashion collections and projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Gantt charts, milestones, and work breakdown structures (WBS) for assigned collections and projects
- Track and monitor project progress against established timelines, deliverables, and dependencies in real-time
- Manage day-to-day coordination with cross-functional teams across development, production, and supply chain
- Oversee execution of all development and industrialization phases, including sampling, prototyping, costing, and production readiness
- Monitor and update project status indicators (RAG status) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues with structured mitigation action plans
- Support definition and tracking of collection release calendars and timelines
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders and program management
- Ensure timely completion of all project milestones through final product shipment
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and updates in PMO systems
- Support change management processes for scope, timing, and priority adjustments
- Proactively identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks to ensure feasibility within collection timelines
- Drive accountability across all functions to meet established deadlines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and execution processes
- Promote alignment between product requirements and industrial production constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with substantial prior experience in the fashion industry in a similar project management or coordination role
- Solid knowledge of project management fundamentals including planning, tracking, and risk management
- Hands-on expertise with Gantt planning and milestone tracking tools
- Comprehensive understanding of fashion development and production processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with tight, competing deadlines
- Strong proficiency in data tracking, reporting, and KPI monitoring
- Familiarity with critical path analysis and dependency management methodologies
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems (preferred)
- Structured and systematic approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
- Fluency in English, Italian, and French (mandatory)

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with substantial prior involvement in the fashion industry in a comparable project management or coordination capacity. Proven track record of managing complex collections and product development projects through multiple phases, from conception through final production and shipment.
Education
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent discipline.
