Christian Dior Couture seeks a Production Team Leader, Continuous Improvement in Pforzheim to lead production operations, team development, quality and process optimization, including improvement projects and change management. The role is full-time and permanent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and coordinate production processes to ensure on-time deliveries and optimal capacity utilization.
- Lead and develop a motivated team, including workforce planning, technical guidance, individual performance reviews and personal development.
- Ensure excellent quality standards and the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Develop and analyze production processes; identify waste, bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization; create process standards; and introduce new or adapted production processes.
- Manage inventory effectively and ensure material availability.
- Act as a communicative liaison between internal departments and external partners to coordinate projects and schedules successfully.
- Define, measure and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to sustainably secure production and project success.
- Oversee all production orders and allocate resources efficiently to shorten lead times and reduce work-in-progress inventory.
- Independently lead improvement projects from conception and implementation through change management.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering or a comparable qualification.
- At least 3–5 years of leadership experience and relevant professional experience in production management, with a proven track record in continuous improvement.
- Sound knowledge of common methodologies, including Lean Management, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt advantageous), Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
- A proven record of leading change projects.
- Analytical and structured thinking, strong communication and assertiveness, and pronounced diplomatic skills when working with diverse stakeholders.
- Good written and spoken German and English.
- SAP knowledge is desirable.
