Christian Dior Couture seeks a Production Purchasing Apprentice in Redon, France (12‑month alternance) to support component and finished‑goods purchasing for Baby Dior.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage purchases of components: liaise with suppliers (primarily within the EU and some non‑EU partners), issue and follow purchase orders, and participate in conformity and quality verifications.
- Coordinate purchases of finished goods: reserve manufacturing capacity, ensure manufacturers are supplied with required components, execute production launches according to the planning and update supply‑chain tracking tools (production schedules, delivery calendars, production follow‑up).
- Maintain transactional and administrative controls: verify invoices, produce monthly reporting and ensure accurate record keeping of production and deliveries.
- Support supplier qualification and compliance: monitor supplier coverage, collect supplier declarations of origin and contribute proposals for customs certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate across functions and cultures to support international production projects and regulatory requirements specific to children’s and baby products.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 programme (Master’s level) in International Business, Supply Chain, Textile Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional working proficiency in French and English; Italian and/or Portuguese are a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong oral communication skills and comfort interacting with international suppliers.
- Reliable, organised and rigorous with the ability to work collaboratively on cross‑functional projects and adapt to changing priorities.
