Christian Dior Couture in Fosso (Veneto), Italy seeks a Production Progress Officer to manage footwear repairs and production advancement (full-time, on-site).
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end operational handling of footwear repairs: receive items, register them in company systems and ensure correct product identification.
- Inspect defects, produce detailed work orders for repairs and specify required interventions and materials.
- Coordinate priorities and scheduling with technical teams and production managers to sequence repairs and limit production disruptions.
- Monitor progress of individual repair jobs and production pairs (Press/Trunk Show and MTO), escalating delays to internal departments and external suppliers and providing regular status updates.
- Administer requests from subcontractors for material replenishment related to repairs and ensure availability of components for ongoing activities.
- Maintain an organised archive of repair documentation and contribute to periodic reporting (volumes, lead times, defect typologies) to support performance analysis.
- Enter and update production data in management systems (orders, process stages) and support daily/weekly production advancement reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ proven experience in production planning/advancement within the footwear sector.
- Solid understanding of footwear construction and repair processes, with the ability to define technical interventions.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise ERP systems.
- Strong organizational aptitude, meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, capable of liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Secondary school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a technical or management discipline preferred.

Education
High school diploma required; university degree in a technical or management field preferred.
