Christian Dior Couture seeks a Production Planning Specialist in Florence to optimize manufacturing capacity and scheduling across production hubs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Consolidate collection and permanent product plans into a single, integrated production demand for the assigned production poles
  • Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term production schedules aligned with available capacity
  • Prioritize production sequencing to ensure optimal manpower saturation and line efficiency
  • Continuously update schedules in response to demand changes, capacity variations, or operational constraints
  • Act as the primary planning counterpart for the assigned production pole
  • Work closely with pole production planners to validate feasibility, sequencing, and workload distribution
  • Support the production poles in managing capacity constraints, workload peaks, and production bottlenecks
  • Monitor production progress versus plan and identify deviations or risks
  • Propose and coordinate re-planning actions to secure production continuity and delivery targets
  • Track key planning and execution KPIs such as schedule adherence and capacity utilization
  • Contribute to the improvement of planning and scheduling processes with a focus on production pole-level execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in fashion, apparel, or luxury manufacturing
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools; strong Excel skills required
  • Solid understanding of industrial processes, workforce planning, and operational constraints
  • Proven experience interfacing with manufacturing sites or production hubs
