Christian Dior Couture seeks a Production Planning & Control Specialist in Pforzheim, Germany — fixed-term, full-time role managing production schedules and capacities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop production plans that reconcile manufacturing capacity, order portfolio, inventory levels, production and delivery backlogs, and procurement status.
- Coordinate available personnel and technical capacity alongside material availability to ensure feasible production schedules.
- Manage and monitor manufacturing orders both in-house and with external production partners, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality requirements.
- Track production flow, identify deviations from plan, analyse root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures to restore on-time delivery.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses, including performance indicators and ad-hoc summaries, for internal stakeholders and the Headquarter in Paris.
- Liaise with procurement, quality, and partner operations to escalate risks and drive resolutions that protect delivery commitments.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial vocational training (Kaufmann/Kauffrau) or degree in business administration or related field.
- Practical experience in production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing control; internships or relevant vocational placements considered.
- Proficient user of SAP for production and materials management.
- Strong command of MS Office applications, with emphasis on Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken; additional languages an advantage.
- Structured, autonomous and accountable approach to work with strong analytical aptitude.

Experience
Entry-level to junior candidates are eligible; relevant hands-on experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination or a comparable operations role is preferred. Practical exposure to SAP-driven production processes is advantageous.
Education
Vocational qualification in a commercial discipline or a university degree in Business Administration (BWL) or a related field.
