Christian Dior Parfums seeks a Production Manager in Orléans, France. Lead manufacturing operations with LEAN expertise and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct daily team briefings and support team leaders through operational change management
- Coach team leaders to develop their management capabilities and build team autonomy
- Establish close leadership presence on the production floor to foster positive workplace culture and resolve operational friction points
- Monitor production scheduling and sectoral activities, including equipment maintenance and standards compliance
- Integrate safety as a priority in all decisions and actions; strengthen the safety culture within the production unit
- Own overall sector performance and embody the organisation's LEAN culture across all operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional support teams (supply chain, scheduling, methods, engineering, safety, quality, controlling, industrialisation, HR, R&I, and marketing)
- Anticipate product launches and coordinate sensitive production campaigns, ensuring effective ramp-up of new products on production lines
- Update and animate the SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, Environment) dashboard for the sector
- Develop and implement the sector's strategic roadmap in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement Manager, focusing on scrap reduction, OEE optimisation, and standard enhancement
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (general engineering, chemistry, or process engineering)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in production management
- Proven expertise in the chemical or process manufacturing industry
- Demonstrated project management capability
- Natural leadership with a results-oriented mindset and proven LEAN culture experience
- Strong ability to work autonomously in a field-focused environment
- Capacity for sound judgment and constructive advocacy of positions
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of production management experience, ideally within the chemical or process manufacturing industry. Demonstrated track record in leading production teams, managing manufacturing operations at scale, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through LEAN practices.
Education
