Christian Dior Couture seeks a Product Technician in Redon, France, for temporary full-time textile product development role in the Baby Dior workshops.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee product development throughout the collection and production lifecycle, ensuring compliance with master industrial schedules and production approval gates
  • Prepare and transmit technical dossiers to manufacturing partners via the PLM system
  • Verify and input product nomenclatures, complete referencing in the ERP system, and maintain accuracy of technical records
  • Formulate and monitor first-sample requests, verify timeline adherence with external workshops, and proactively resolve bottlenecks by updating information systems and proposing solutions
  • Update technical dossiers and nomenclatures in response to design and specification changes
  • Review first samples collaboratively with cross-functional teams and validate production launch readiness
  • Maintain daily communication with international manufacturing partners via email and video conferencing

Qualifications

  • BTS or equivalent tertiary qualification in soft materials or textile engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge of textile fabrication and garment assembly processes
  • Proven experience in infant and children's wear product development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Illustrator
  • Professional-level written and spoken English for daily international correspondence
  • Portuguese language skills highly valued as an additional asset

Experience

The successful candidate will be located in Redon, Brittany, France, with easy access to Rennes.
