Christian Dior Couture is seeking a Product Manager to contribute to the strategy and development of Dior Maison & Art de Vivre collections, covering market analysis, collection planning, product development, supplier coordination, pricing, budgets and compliance. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy and development of Dior Maison & Art de Vivre collections, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Design and manage the collection plan using visual tools and Excel.
  • Evaluate the performance of existing collections.
  • Identify opportunities to extend collections and develop new products.
  • Research and analyse new growth and differentiation opportunities for product categories through 360° competitive monitoring of product ranges, pricing, materials and savoir-faire, supported by in-depth knowledge of the House.
  • Work with the creative studio to validate designs and technical specifications, ensuring feasibility and compliance with supplier constraints.
  • Prepare product briefs for the creative studio and ensure that creative work and technical specifications are delivered according to schedule.
  • Manage the progress of supplier developments, including design, manufacturing processes, development costs and purchase prices.
  • Actively source and assess potential new partners and savoir-faire.
  • Share key product information internally, including savoir-faire and care instructions.
  • Validate product retail pricing strategy.
  • Manage budgets allocated to collection development.
  • Ensure new products are referenced and coded.
  • Secure compliance and intellectual property aspects of designs and artistic collaborations with the relevant internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree-level education, such as a business school qualification.
  • A first experience in product development and/or experience in the home décor or tableware sector.
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe suite skills and experience in the print sector are an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for direct contact with external service providers and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluent English.
  • Enjoys teamwork and demonstrates analytical thinking.
  • Rigour, diplomacy and product sensitivity.
  • Strong interest in the home universe and solid knowledge of the tableware and decoration markets, as well as Dior Maison’s competitive landscape.
