Parfums Christian Dior seeks experienced Product Manager for Makeup in Seoul. Lead strategy, development, and portfolio management for beauty products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and long-term makeup product portfolio strategies informed by market trends, competitor analysis, consumer insights, and brand positioning objectives
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for existing product improvement and new makeup launches through strategic market analysis and Korean market trend assessment
- Lead comprehensive new product planning processes including forecasting, pricing, regulatory affairs, and daily inventory management maintenance
- Prepare and execute promotional plans to maximize sales potential for all new product launches, and conduct post-launch analysis of sales results and market feedback
- Accurately forecast demand for new and established makeup products while coordinating with production and inventory management departments
- Conduct regular forecast meetings with the planning team to identify and mitigate risks related to product arrival, availability, stock levels, and production issues
- Communicate with Marketing and Sales departments regarding stock situations and recommend strategic solutions as needed
- Prepare weekly reports to senior management and regional/central teams detailing new product launch results, qualitative feedback, and performance metrics
- Provide product dashboards and performance analysis to all relevant departments to support informed decision-making
- Establish and monitor annual budgets for events and campaigns while maintaining flexibility to adjust allocations based on business demands
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 7 years of Product Manager or Brand Manager experience in the cosmetics industry
- Proven expertise in makeup product development and management
- Deep knowledge of cosmetics industry trends, makeup products, and market dynamics
- Strategic problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and flexible mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across diverse departments and stakeholder groups
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years of Product Manager or Brand Manager experience in the cosmetics industry, with substantial hands-on expertise in makeup product development, portfolio management, and market analysis.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline such as business, marketing, chemistry, or cosmetics science.
