Christian Dior Couture recruits a Product Technician in Redon, Brittany for textile product development and supplier coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine products throughout collection and production cycles, ensuring alignment with industrial planning schedules and production sign-off
  • Create and distribute technical files to manufacturers via PLM system, maintaining accuracy and completeness of product specifications
  • Verify and input nomenclatures into the ERP system, ensuring comprehensive product referencing across all management platforms
  • Formulate and track sampling requests (première série), coordinating timelines with external manufacturing partners and proposing solutions to resolve logistical challenges
  • Update technical documentation and nomenclatures in response to design modifications and production requirements
  • Review and validate sample submissions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, approving production launch authorization
  • Maintain daily communication with international suppliers via email and video conferencing to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product development or textile manufacturing
  • Advanced knowledge of infant and childrenswear production processes and assembly techniques
  • Proficiency with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems
  • Mastery of office software tools (Microsoft Office suite); Adobe Illustrator proficiency is preferred
  • Fluent professional English, both written and oral, for daily international communications
  • Portuguese language skills are advantageous
