Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Product Development Specialist — Jersey (Menswear) to drive knitwear collection development for Dior Men.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end development of the jersey collection for Dior Men, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards and budgetary constraints.
  • Act as primary interface with materials and components teams, external manufacturers, the design studio, marketing and production to coordinate development milestones.
  • Attend and document fit sessions with the studio, providing detailed technical notes and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate shipment of materials and components to manufacturing sites and ensure traceability throughout the supply chain.
  • Codify styles within the PLM system and create/update nomenclatures / bill of materials.
  • Track invoices, maintain and update the product development budget and report on financial status.
  • Support model standardization and normalization processes in collaboration with the production department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in jersey/knitwear product development, preferably within fashion and menswear.
  • Degree (Bac +4/5) from a fashion or business school, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor and the ability to prioritise to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership and ability to work cross-functionally in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Product sensibility with solid technical knowledge of knitwear construction and materials.
