Christian Dior Couture seeks Jersey Product Development Manager in Paris. Six-month contract starting September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee the development of jersey collections, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget parameters
- Serve as the primary liaison between materials and components teams, manufacturing partners, design studio, marketing department, and production
- Participate in fittings and sampling sessions with the design studio, recording detailed technical notes and specifications
- Manage the dispatch of materials and components to manufacturing facilities and track shipment status
- Codify product models within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software and create and update product nomenclatures
- Monitor invoicing and maintain budget tracking and reconciliation
- Collaborate with the production team on model standardization and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Diploma in fashion design, fashion merchandising, or business studies (Bac +4/5 or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in jersey product development
- Strong technical knowledge of fabric properties, construction methods, and menswear product specifications
- Proficiency in office software suite (Microsoft Office); knowledge of PLM software is advantageous
- Proactive, meticulous, and highly organized with exceptional prioritization abilities
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with natural leadership presence
- Fluent English (essential); Italian language proficiency is valued
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in jersey product development within a fashion or luxury apparel environment. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on expertise in managing collection development cycles, coordinating with design and production teams, and maintaining product integrity throughout the development process.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5) from a recognized fashion school, fashion merchandising program, or business school. Candidates with formal training in fashion design, pattern-making, or apparel production are particularly valued.
