Christian Dior Couture — Product Development Assistant, Women's Ready-to-Wear internship in Paris. Support collection development and sample coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the women's ready-to-wear development team in daily tasks and in the preparation of seasonal collections.
  • Digitise and archive sketches and fitting photos (photocopying, scanning, retouching/clean-up using Photoshop) and organise them within the department filing system.
  • Prepare and distribute sketches and fitting photographs to ateliers and external workshops; manage incoming and outgoing model requests (press, archives, internal services).
  • Maintain and update sample tracking spreadsheets and the collection plan, ensuring accurate tracking of toiles and prototypes.
  • Coordinate logistics for external maker fittings and studio receptions (space and rack reservations, transfers between ateliers and studio).
  • Support the setup and documentation of show fittings and collection photo shoots; take, reference and file fitting images on the network.
  • Update collection boards in advance of attributions and liaise with the studio, coordination teams and ateliers to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bac+3 (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree); suitable for entry-level candidates or recent graduates.
  • Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.
  • Proven proficiency in Photoshop and Indesign; strong knowledge of Pack Office. Familiarity with a PLM system is desirable.
  • Highly organised, autonomous, dynamic and capable of prioritising concurrent tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to interact effectively with studios, ateliers and external partners.

Experience
