Christian Dior Couture in Florence seeks a Procurement Leader to oversee operational procurement and lead the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the operational procurement team, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards and efficiency objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operational procurement activities: order creation, delivery monitoring and rapid resolution of deviations (delays, emergencies, discrepancies).
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical supply issues and align procurement responses with Planning, Product Development and Purchasing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality or quantity issues and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Collaborate with Industrialization, Product and Quality teams to ensure all technical approvals are secured prior to order release.
  • Oversee the handling of quality holds, returns from production sites and anomaly management to safeguard continuity of delivery plans.
  • Drive supplier performance reviews together with Purchasing and KPI & Reporting colleagues and ensure continuous improvement actions are executed.
  • Monitor and report operational KPIs in partnership with the KPI & Reporting Analyst and proactively propose process optimisations to mitigate supply chain risk.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, preferably within the luxury or fashion sector.
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing a procurement or operations team.
  • Strong command of ERP systems and digital procurement tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).
  • English at B2 level or higher; knowledge of French is a plus.

Experience
