Parfums Christian Dior in Chartres seeks a Process Engineering Intern to support industrialization and continuous improvement projects on the packaging site.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Integrate into the Process Engineering team on the Chartres packaging site and contribute to industrialization and technical improvement projects.
  • Lead assigned industrialization projects for product launches and production line changes, coordinating between engineering, production and suppliers.
  • Manage introduction of new formats: oversee tooling reception, run validation tests, coordinate pilot runs and monitor first industrial lots.
  • Develop and implement a robust project management methodology (scoping, planning, execution, monitoring) for technical initiatives.
  • Apply continuous improvement on the shop floor: analyse stoppages, identify root causes, propose and implement technical solutions (tooling, simple mechanical modifications), and track gains in throughput, quality and ergonomics.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completing a Bac+4 / Bac+5 engineering programme (industrial, mechanical or process engineering).
  • Familiarity with problem‑solving methodologies and basic project management principles.
  • Strong analytical rigour, organisational discipline and attention to detail.
  • Practical, field‑oriented mindset with autonomy, initiative and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate pedagogically and work collaboratively with production teams.

Experience

Entry‑level internship targeted at students; prior professional experience is not required. The role is suited to candidates with academic exposure to industrial engineering, process optimisation or manufacturing projects.

Education

Pursuing a Bac+4 / Bac+5 engineering degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or process engineering.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Chartres, Centre-Val de Loire, France, with easy access to Paris.
