Christian Dior Couture seeks a senior pattern maker for menswear standardization and VIP production in Paris. MODARIS expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor collection patterns and identify potential pattern-making issues during development
- Develop alternative solutions for production challenges as needed
- Prepare and lead standardization meetings with the studio, development team, and collection merchandising
- Define counter-samples during normalization meetings to ensure desired quality and fit for production
- Establish and apply men's ready-to-wear standardization protocols
- Normalize a portion of patterns while briefing and supervising other pattern makers' normalization work
- Ensure adherence to production timelines and retroplanning
- Receive and review counter-samples, organize fit sessions, and provide technical corrections and comments
- For VIP production: participate in project briefings and rework patterns from the collection according to imposed timelines
Qualifications
- Fashion school degree or equivalent with specialization in technical pattern making and CAD/CAM
- Minimum 10 years of experience in CAD/CAM pattern making and standardization
- Several years of experience in menswear ready-to-wear
- Advanced technical knowledge of garment construction and components
- Expert proficiency with MODARIS software
- Fluency in French (essential); English proficiency (advantageous)

Minimum 10 years of experience in CAD/CAM pattern making and standardization, with several years specifically in menswear ready-to-wear production. Demonstrated expertise in pattern normalization, fit standardization, and working with luxury production environments.
Education
