Christian Dior Couture seeks experienced Pattern Maker for Men's RTW Normalization and VIP projects in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor collection styles and identify pattern-related issues, proposing production-viable alternative solutions
- Prepare and lead normalization meetings with Studio, Development, and Collection Merchandising teams
- Define counter-samples to be produced during normalization meetings to ensure desired quality and fit for production
- Establish and apply men's ready-to-wear normalization rules and standards
- Normalize assigned patterns, brief pattern makers on remaining models, and oversee their normalization workflow
- Maintain adherence to production timelines and retroplanning schedules
- Receive and inspect counter-samples, organize fittings, and document corrections and feedback
- For VIP work, participate in project briefings and rework collection patterns according to specific timelines and requirements
Qualifications
- Training in Fashion Design with specialization in technical pattern-making and CAD-CAM pattern design
- Minimum 10 years of experience in CAD-CAM pattern-making and normalization, including several years in men's ready-to-wear
- Deep technical knowledge of garment construction and components
- Expert-level proficiency with LECTRA software
- Autonomous, flexible, curious, and intellectually open
- Passionate about the craft with appetite for technical challenges
- Proactive problem-solving orientation with solutions-focused mindset and appreciation for technical innovation
- Strong sense of responsibility and precision, with exceptional sensitivity to quality and detail
