Christian Dior seeks a Pastry Commis in Paris to support pastry and culinary operations at the iconic 30 Avenue Montaigne flagship restaurant.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform preparatory tasks and mise en place for pastry service
  • Assist senior pastry chefs and chefs de partie in the preparation and plating of desserts and pastries
  • Execute service operations according to restaurant standards and procedures
  • Maintain kitchen facilities, equipment, and workstations to HACCP standards
  • Participate in goods receiving operations following HACCP protocols and hotel procedures
  • Arrange and present plated desserts for service
  • Participate in waste sorting and disposal
  • Report any abnormal situations concerning safety or accident risks to management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen and/or pastry experience in a luxury establishment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent service orientation
  • Creative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, anticipation, and follow-up capabilities

Experience
