Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute preliminary food preparation and mise-en-place tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Assist Head Pastry Chefs and section leaders in the fabrication and finishing of pastries and desserts
  • Support service operations according to established restaurant protocols and procedures
  • Maintain kitchen facilities and equipment in strict compliance with HACCP food safety standards
  • Participate in receiving and verifying incoming ingredients and supplies according to HACCP protocols and hotel procedures
  • Plate and present finished dishes according to service requirements and quality standards
  • Manage waste sorting and disposal in accordance with established procedures
  • Communicate promptly to supervisors any abnormal situations concerning safety or risk of accidents to guests or colleagues

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of professional kitchen or pastry experience in a luxury establishment
  • Demonstrated expertise in pastry production and classical techniques
