Parfums Christian Dior in Chartres seeks a Packaging Workshop Manager to lead packaging production and a team of ~30 on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a packaging workshop of approximately 30 employees, ensuring team engagement, development and adherence to house values.
- Ensure exemplary safety culture and strict compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Translate and deploy factory and service strategy so every team member understands their role and contribution to collective goals.
- Plan and allocate line assignments to meet service needs while fostering polyvalence across the team.
- Develop, monitor and maintain operational competencies and authorizations (habilitations) for workshop staff.
- Monitor daily performance KPIs (TRS/OEE, changeover times, adherence to schedules, respect of standards) and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular shop-floor audits to ensure application of standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives for production deviations and participate actively in improvement projects.
- Apply and enforce disciplinary policy when required and manage employee relations proactively.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of proven team management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable leadership with a strong orientation to results and operational excellence.
- Proven experience in production scheduling, performance management and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Excel and SAP.

Experience
At least 3 years of people-management experience within an industrial production or packaging environment, with responsibility for operational performance and continuous improvement.
Education
Engineering degree or equivalent technical diploma.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Chartres, Centre-Val de Loire, France, with easy access to Paris.
