Christian Dior Couture seeks an Operations Supervisor in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) to manage boutique back‑of‑house operations and inventory control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day non-selling boutique operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, back-of-house organisation and facilities maintenance.
- Oversee accuracy of stock processes: verify purchase orders, ticketing, receiving, transfers, damages and returns-to-vendor (RTV); participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures, maintain loss-prevention controls and safeguard company funds and property.
- Train, coach and supervise boutique associates on POS procedures, returns, alteration requests, safety and security protocols and operational standards.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records to monitor adherence to policies and support management decision-making.
- Manage opening/closing, locking and security procedures; ensure physical facilities meet applicable safety codes and standards.
- Assist boutique management with payroll administration, scheduling and budget compliance; support problem resolution to optimise service and productivity.
- Maintain an orderly receiving and stockroom area; ensure merchandise is correctly ticketed and sensored and that back-of-house is properly organised.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in stock, logistics or boutique operations.
- Proven experience with shipping & receiving, inventory control, cycle counts and loss-prevention processes.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, train and coach retail associates in operational procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays; availability to travel as required.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and to move/handle merchandise and fixtures as required.
Skills
Experience
At least five years of retail experience with a minimum of three years focused on stock, shipping/receiving or boutique operations, including supervisory responsibility.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or vocational training in retail, logistics or business is an advantage.
