Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance of all associates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security protocols, inventory management, and record-keeping procedures
• Train, coach, and manage all associates in execution of operations tasks, including POS procedures, return procedures, alteration requests, and safety and security protocols
• Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to maintain inventory integrity
• Ensure adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts as directed and coordinate communication between store and central distribution
• Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Assist with payroll management and scheduling of associates while ensuring compliance with payroll budgets
• Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all opening, closing, and security procedures
• Oversee operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems, security systems, and communications/MIS systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail or luxury boutique operations experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted store operations including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, and alterations
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory control systems, and office equipment
• Strong ability to develop, train, and manage a diverse workforce
• Proven track record of maintaining fair and consistent standards across all operational areas
• Ability to produce, complete, and maintain comprehensive records and workforce documentation

Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, boutique management, or related luxury retail environment. Demonstrated expertise in managing payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities management. Proven success in training and developing retail teams in a fast-paced, high-performance setting.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree or retail management certification preferred.
