Operations Manager at Christian Dior Couture, San Antonio. Lead boutique operations, manage payroll, inventory, and facilities for luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance of all associates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security protocols, inventory management, and record-keeping procedures
- Train, coach, and manage all associates in execution of operations tasks, including POS procedures, return procedures, alteration requests, and safety and security protocols
- Monitor the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to maintain inventory integrity
- Ensure adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts as directed and coordinate communication between store and central distribution
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Assist with payroll management and scheduling of associates while ensuring compliance with payroll budgets
- Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all opening, closing, and security procedures
- Oversee operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems, security systems, and communications/MIS systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail or luxury boutique operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted store operations including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, and alterations
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory control systems, and office equipment
- Strong ability to develop, train, and manage a diverse workforce
- Proven track record of maintaining fair and consistent standards across all operational areas
- Ability to produce, complete, and maintain comprehensive records and workforce documentation
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, boutique management, or related luxury retail environment. Demonstrated expertise in managing payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities management. Proven success in training and developing retail teams in a fast-paced, high-performance setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree or retail management certification preferred.
