Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance of all associates with established company policies, procedures, and standards including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, inventory management, and record-keeping
  • Train, coach, and manage all associates in execution of operations tasks including POS procedures, return procedures, alteration requests, and safety protocols
  • Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTV) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Ensure adequate security measures and that physical facilities comply with all safety codes and ordinances
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts as directed and coordinate communication between store and central distribution
  • Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure back-of-house operations are properly organized and assist with payroll management and associate scheduling
  • Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all opening, closing, and security procedures
  • Assist with payroll processes and ensure compliance with payroll budgets
  • Help resolve problems that affect store service, efficiency, and productivity
  • Provide and inspire outstanding customer service to all boutique visitors

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of retail store management with strong operations background
  • Ability to manage store operations including payroll, customer service, shipping and receiving, alterations, and facilities management
  • Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control systems, phone systems, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to develop and train workforce while building strong team relationships
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move merchandise and fixtures throughout the store
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
  • Availability to travel as needed
