Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance of all associates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, and inventory management
  • Train, coach, and manage associates in execution of operational tasks including POS procedures, return procedures, alteration requests, and security protocols
  • Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor to maintain inventory integrity
  • Ensure adequate security measures and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts as directed and coordinate communication between the store, central distribution, and corporate inventory control
  • Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies
  • Ensure all back-of-house operations are properly set up and organized, with secure store opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with payroll management, associate scheduling, and ensure compliance with payroll budgets
  • Troubleshoot problems affecting store service, efficiency, and productivity
  • Provide and inspire outstanding customer service alongside the management team
  • Exercise judgment and discretion in day-to-day operations in conjunction with the management team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail store management with strong operations background
  • Ability to work flexible full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move, handle, and lift boxes of merchandise and fixtures
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
  • Availability to travel as needed
