Christian Dior Couture Operations Manager position in Abu Dhabi's The Grove Boutique—manage store operations, payroll, and boutique team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance of all associates with established company policies, procedures, and standards regarding safekeeping of company funds, personnel practices, security, inventory management, and record-keeping
  • Train, coach, and manage all associates in execution of operational tasks including POS procedures, returns, alterations, and security protocols
  • Assist in supervision, staffing, and scheduling of the workforce with emphasis on cashiers, security, receiving, and maintenance functions
  • Monitor accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTV) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Ensure adequate security and that physical facilities comply with all safety codes and ordinances
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts as directed and coordinate communication between store and central distribution
  • Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all back-of-house operations are properly organized and set up according to standards
  • Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with opening, closing, and security procedures
  • Assist in recruitment and hiring of qualified applicants to meet boutique staffing needs
  • Manage new hire benefits enrollments and employee documentation submissions in a timely manner
  • Assist with payroll management and scheduling while ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints
  • Help solve problems affecting store service, efficiency, and productivity
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of retail store management experience with strong operations background
  • Ability to manage boutique operations including payroll, customer service, shipping/receiving, alterations, and facilities management
  • Proficiency in operating all equipment necessary for the role including POS systems, inventory control systems, cash registers, and office equipment
  • Ability to develop, train, and build relationships with workforce members
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move/handle merchandise boxes and fixtures throughout the store
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
