Christian Dior Couture seeks an Operations Associate in Miami to manage receiving, inventory, and stock operations. Full-time, on-site retail position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory
- Maintain an orderly and secure stock and receiving area, ensuring proper ticketing and security tagging of merchandise
- Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors (RTV's), chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies
- Support compliance with established receiving practices, including safekeeping of company funds and property, security protocols, and record-keeping procedures
- Participate in all inventory and cycle counts
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising updates, and display maintenance throughout the boutique
- Communicate regularly with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments
- Assist in price changes and merchandise packing or wrapping for customers as needed
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars
- Complete additional tasks assigned by store management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail stock, shipping, and receiving experience
- Ability to handle receiving operations effectively with proper merchandise handling
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Proficiency in reading, counting, and documenting information accurately
- Competency in processing merchandise and information through inventory-control computer systems
- Ability to operate equipment including phone systems, sensor-tag removers, and office equipment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy boxes and fixtures
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of verifiable retail stock, shipping, and receiving experience in a fast-paced retail environment with demonstrated proficiency in inventory management and merchandise handling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all necessary documentation.
