Christian Dior Couture seeks an Operations Associate in McLean, VA (Tyson's Galleria) to manage receiving, inventory control and stockroom operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping and receiving functions to ensure accurate, timely processing of inbound freight, transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV) and damaged goods in accordance with Company policy.
- Maintain an orderly, secure and impeccably presented stockroom and receiving area; ensure merchandise is ticketed, sensored and staged according to boutique standards.
- Conduct and participate in cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations; support inventory-control procedures to minimise shrinkage and protect company assets.
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory-control teams to resolve discrepancies and coordinate shipments.
- Support the sales floor with floor moves, merchandising adjustments, display maintenance and ad hoc packaging/wrapping of customer purchases.
- Operate and maintain all equipment required for daily operations, including inventory-control systems, sensor-tag removers and store telephony; complete required documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in retail stock, shipping/receiving, or inventory operations within a specialty or luxury retail environment.
- Demonstrable ability to complete and verify documentation accurately (read, count and write) and to process merchandise through inventory systems.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a disciplined follow-through and organisational aptitude.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and to move, lift and handle boxes, fixtures and merchandise safely.
- Availability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays as required by store operations.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on retail stockroom, shipping/receiving or inventory-control experience, preferably within a luxury or specialty retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in logistics, retail operations or supply-chain fundamentals is advantageous.
