Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all shipping and receiving functions are processed accurately and efficiently to maintain accurate store inventory
  • Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored
  • Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors (RTVs), chargebacks, transfers, and damages according to company policies
  • Support compliance with company receiving practices, including safekeeping of company funds and property, security, and record-keeping procedures
  • Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss
  • Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control department
  • Participate in all inventory and cycle counts
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and general housekeeping
  • Complete price changes within the boutique
  • Assist in packing and wrapping customers' merchandise when necessary
  • Identify problems and make informed suggestions affecting receiving area service and productivity
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Participate in store meetings and training seminars

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience
  • Ability to handle receiving operations effectively with proper merchandise handling
  • Proficiency in reading, counting, and writing to accurately complete all documentation
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer inventory systems
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy boxes and fixtures
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment
