Role & Responsibilities
- Process shipping and receiving functions with accuracy and efficiency, managing inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damage documentation per company standards
- Maintain an orderly and secure stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and security-tagged to prevent loss
- Participate in all inventory and cycle counts, communicating findings with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments
- Execute price changes within the boutique and assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance
- Operate inventory-control computer systems and all equipment necessary for receiving operations, including sensor-tag removers and office equipment
- Support compliance with company policies regarding safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, and security procedures
- Assist in packing and wrapping customer merchandise when necessary and resolve operational problems affecting receiving area productivity
- Attend store meetings and training seminars as required and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail stock, shipping, and receiving experience
- Proficiency in reading, counting, writing, and accurate documentation completion
- Competence with computer systems and inventory-control software
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy boxes of merchandise, and move fixtures throughout the store
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through capabilities

Minimum 5 years in retail stock, shipping, and receiving operations, with demonstrated proficiency in merchandise handling and inventory control procedures.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; literacy in English essential for documentation and communication purposes.
