Parfums Christian Dior, Orléans: Operational Excellence Project Manager to lead Lean deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and diagnose operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across production, logistics, supply chain, and related functions
- Deploy and pilot continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (DMAIC, A3), Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, and SMED
- Lead optimization projects from analysis through implementation and results monitoring, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints
- Facilitate organizational change management across all levels, unifying teams around improvement objectives and building resilience to resistance
- Train and coach collaborators in continuous improvement tools and principles, promoting adoption of best practices throughout the enterprise
- Establish, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact of improvement initiatives and ensure sustainability of gains
- Contribute to the operational excellence strategic roadmap and prioritize improvement initiatives aligned with Parfums Christian Dior's broader business strategy
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent qualification in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, or Supply Chain
- Mastery of continuous improvement methodologies with proven capability to prioritize and sustainably resolve root causes of underperformance
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data and deliver strategic insights
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial environment (cosmetics, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent)
- Proven experience coordinating and/or managing cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated expertise in change management and organizational transformation
- Strong pedagogical aptitude for building consensus, training collaborators, and fostering knowledge transfer
- Exceptional synthetic thinking, quickly decoding challenges and proposing relevant solutions
- Natural leadership presence with ability to mobilize talent and drive teams toward ambitious performance targets
- Intellectual curiosity and innovative mindset positioning the candidate as a driver of progress and transformation
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in an operational excellence, continuous improvement, or process optimization role, ideally in a regulated or capital-intensive industrial environment such as cosmetics, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing. Hands-on experience deploying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, along with demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Education
Engineering degree at Bac+5 level or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, or Supply Chain Management. Specialized Master's degree or third-cycle qualification in Operational Excellence is valued.
