Occupational Health Nurse position at Parfums Christian Dior in Orléans, France—full-time permanent role managing employee health and safety within a luxury fragrance manufacturing environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage workplace emergencies with rapid response and provide routine nursing care, maintaining rigorous documentation in the occupational health management system
- Handle work-related and commuting accidents, ensuring timely declaration and efficient coordination with HR and Safety departments
- Actively participate in key occupational health meetings including CSSCT committees, return-to-work initiatives, social services coordination, and safety department engagement including ergonomic assessments
- Conduct comprehensive worksite assessments and field visits to anticipate and mitigate occupational hazards
- Perform high-quality occupational health interviews, including Information and Prevention Visits and intermediate consultations for strengthened monitoring, establishing relationships built on trust
- Administer supplementary health examinations including vision screening, visual field testing, electrocardiography, spirometry, and audiometry in accordance with established protocols
- Develop and maintain clear, effective occupational health protocols ensuring optimal nursing practice standards
- Contribute substantially to the preparation of the annual activity report reflecting service commitment and outcomes
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of occupational exposures—physical, chemical, and psychosocial—within individual health records by cross-referencing Safety department data and employee feedback
- Actively participate in workplace accident analysis, prevention plan development, and worksite evaluation exercises
- Train and mentor Workplace Emergency Responders (SST) in occupational risk prevention, transmitting best practices and regulatory compliance standards
- Lead occupational health screenings during consultations and supplementary examinations through targeted health questioning
- Organize and facilitate health promotion and prevention campaigns aligned with national public health priorities, including campaigns for breast cancer awareness, men's health, smoking cessation, and seasonal vaccinations
- Participate in epidemiological surveys and statistical analysis contributing to enhanced occupational risk identification and management
Qualifications
- State-certified Nursing Diploma (Diplôme d'État) with occupational health specialization (DIUST) or equivalent Professional Licence in health and social sciences
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in occupational health practice
- Expert proficiency in workplace emergency management, medical referral protocols, supplementary health examinations, and public health initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in occupational health consultations, field assessments, risk prevention, accident analysis, and return-to-work support
- Active commitment to continuing professional development, evidenced by certifications such as JAMU, AFGSU, or SST training
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities with an aptitude for collaborative practice and effective knowledge transfer
