Parfums Christian Dior seeks a National Makeup Expert in Los Angeles to lead makeup events, education and elevated client experiences across North America.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation and on-site execution of Dior makeup events and signature makeup service lessons across North America to recruit clients and deepen loyalty.
- Partner with the New York Education team, Retail Excellence, Marketing, Client Experience & Events, and Field Sales to align event programming with national makeup strategies and brand priorities.
- Design and deliver advanced artistry workshops and personalized consultation trainings that operationalize Dior’s signature techniques and luxury service methodology.
- Coach and upskill in-store teams through ongoing field coaching, performance feedback and skills development to elevate makeup service quality and commercial results.
- Ensure all activations, services and presentations consistently reflect Dior’s luxury positioning, product expertise and client experience standards.
- Serve as a product and brand authority—maintain up-to-date knowledge of launches, hero ingredients and product technologies and translate this into event content and client conversations.
- Support key campaigns, product launches and PR/editorial initiatives through event participation and subject-matter expertise.
- Capture field insights and performance opportunities and communicate actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners to drive makeup business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional makeup artistry experience with demonstrated mastery across techniques, skin tones and settings.
- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience within the beauty industry, with proven ability to coach and elevate team performance.
- Professional makeup training (formal certification) or equivalent industry credentials and career experience.
- Proven track record in luxury retail environments with strong client-centric selling skills and experience servicing VIC/high-touch clientele.
- Extensive experience executing in-store activations, events, editorial and backstage environments, plus confidence in public speaking and presentations.
- Established and active social media presence with the ability to create brand-aligned content and engage diverse audiences.
