Parfums Christian Dior Japan seeks Multi-Brand Stores Retail Manager in Tokyo to drive sales, train staff, and manage retail partnerships across multi-brand locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and budget goals for assigned corners, with an expected 70% of weekly activity spent in-store
- Develop and propose strategic business plans to the MBS Sales Manager for target attainment and communicate plans with store staff for alignment and execution
- Monitor inventory levels for limited editions and special products across locations; optimize inventory turnover and minimize returns
- Analyze sales data, category performance metrics, and competitive positioning to inform strategy refinement
- Execute visual merchandising standards and coordinate with MBS VMD team on display compliance and timely updates
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns at strategic locations, managing budgets and coordinating with retail partners for event preparation
- Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) with MBS trainers; measure post-training sales performance and address operational gaps in collaboration with store and partner management
- Respond to product inquiries and customer concerns from retail partners, liaising with appropriate internal departments for resolution
- Prepare sales reports, customer feedback summaries, and market trend analysis for leadership
- Manage risk and incident response, including theft prevention, complaint resolution, and crisis mitigation
- Support new store openings, renovations, and closures by coordinating logistics with internal teams and retail partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry with customer-facing and training background
- Demonstrated ability to transition from customer-service or training roles into sales and account management
- Full availability for weekend and weekday travel to retail locations
- Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform in-store demonstrations and direct customer engagement alongside staff coaching
