Christian Dior Couture — Merchandising Trainee (Head Office, Munich). 1-year full-time merchandising trainee role supporting Central & Eastern Europe.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce weekly and monthly sales reports across all product categories for the Central & Eastern Europe region.
- Monitor and analyse daily sales performance and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
- Support store stock requests and rebalance inventory according to boutique performance indicators.
- Coordinate and follow up on product transfers within the market (DE, AT, CH, PL, CZ) and across Europe.
- Provide market-level feedback on collections and boutique performance to inform buying and assortment strategies.
- Support retail operations initiatives designed to increase sales turnover and improve sell‑through.
- Implement action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Visual Merchandising, Training, Marketing).
- Prepare materials for buying sessions, including sales reports, forecasting tools and presentations for Store Managers.
Qualifications
- University studies in fashion management, business administration or a related discipline.
- First significant analytical experience (internship or junior role), ideally in retail merchandising or business analysis.
- Fluency in German and English; an additional language is an advantage.
- Highly numerate with a rigorous, data-driven approach and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Entry-level: candidate should be a recent graduate or early-career professional with at least one substantive analytical placement or junior role, ideally within retail merchandising or business analysis.
Education
University degree in fashion management, business administration or a related field.
