Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Merchandiser for Fine Jewellery & Timepieces in Paris. Six-month internship starting January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance analyses across product lines, zones, boutiques, and collections, with particular focus on bestselling items and recent launches or events
  • Support new product launches by managing product information, assortment summaries, inventory verification, and stock delivery confirmations
  • Monitor stock levels and implement corrective actions to maximize sales performance
  • Create and maintain sales support tools including product guides, assortment listings, and point-of-sale applications
  • Perform competitive market studies and analysis
  • Provide daily operational support to European zones and boutiques including stock requests, inter-boutique transfers, product information, and sales support tools
  • Coordinate assortment management for mobile retail events ('caravanes'), tracking piece transfers, sales, and restock activities, and updating event calendars
  • Support permanent and seasonal boutique openings by developing tailored assortments in coordination with central teams, monitoring stock receipt, and managing logistics communications
  • Assist with logistics preparation including documentation, transportation booking, piece packing, and carrier handoff for European client presentations
  • Track logistics flows across the European zone and manage communications with transportation providers
  • Provide operational support during client events or team seminars

Qualifications

  • Final-year business school student (BAC +5 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in merchandising or business analysis is advantageous
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Knowledge of the luxury industry and familiarity with fine jewellery and timepieces sectors preferred
  • Analytical, rigorous, and well-organized mindset
  • Strong numerical aptitude and comfort with data
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-relationship skills
  • Demonstrated product curiosity and sensitivity
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
