Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the local merchandising strategy for Men’s Shoes and Accessories (including custom jewellery, ties & scarves, hats, belts and eyewear), curating a balanced assortment across boutiques.
- Act as the strategic conduit between boutiques and the Business Unit (BU), consolidating qualitative boutique feedback and local market insights to influence seasonal collection direction.
- Translate seasonal collection ambitions into actionable product strategies with the BU, aligning on sales targets and measures to optimise sell‑through.
- Support Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) planning and inventory decisions in partnership with the BU and local planning teams, ensuring alignment with global guidelines.
- Prepare and analyse weekly and collection‑level sales and sell‑through reports, identify gaps and propose corrective commercial actions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure optimal stock flow and allocation across the season to maximise sales opportunities.
- Work with Retail, Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to curate product selections for events, store launches and floor sets, and to ensure effective stock allocation.
- Partner with Training to deliver product training and merchandising guidance to boutique teams to strengthen execution in store.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a fashion‑related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of merchandising experience within fashion or luxury brands, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Excellent analytical and numerical aptitude with demonstrated ability to interpret sales and sell‑through data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and comfortable working with commercial reporting and planning systems.
- Deep commercial understanding of the local fashion market and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Fluent oral and written English.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and readiness to operate in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
