Christian Dior Couture seeks a Merchandising Manager, Leather Goods in New York (Hybrid) to lead Americas boutiques merchandising, reporting and assortment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead merchandising activities for Women's Leather Goods across Americas boutiques, aligning assortment, allocation and replenishment with the brand’s commercial strategy.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and seasonal Excel-based sales reports, store and business recaps, fast/slow seller analysis and end-of-season (EOS) product recaps to inform commercial decisions.
- Create and manage seasonal launch tools and buy books, oversee photo and selling tools, ensure client orders are filled accurately and adjust allocations to match reservations and demand.
- Manage daily product shipping and delivery follow-up; review shipping reports to ensure on-time seasonal merchandise and replenishment shipments.
- Partner closely with Retail teams and Paris headquarters to handle product inquiries, present weekly business updates and aggregate boutique feedback.
- Support assortment planning for new store openings and pop-ups and participate in bi-monthly stock rebalances to maximize sell-through.
- Conduct monthly competitive market analysis — pricing, trends, market activities and events — and report findings to the Leathergoods team.
- Participate in four seasonal markets (Paris/virtual): perform premarket analysis by store/cluster, present regional strategy and assist with store-level assortment definition.
- Review advertising and campaign sales results and provide recommendations for markdowns and merchandising actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of merchandising, buying or supply‑chain experience; luxury retail experience in Women’s leather goods strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (heavy Excel workload) and strong skills in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrable knowledge of retail math and retail KPIs with experience preparing sales and sell‑through analyses.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for market weeks and store openings.
- Proven ability to operate merchandising systems and retail programmes; comfortable managing allocation and replenishment processes.

Minimum 5 years of prior experience in merchandising, buying or supply chain, preferably within luxury women’s retail. Demonstrated experience with retail reporting, assortment planning and allocation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management or related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to USD 125,000 per annum.
