Christian Dior Couture, Paris | Assistant Merchandiser internship (6 months) | Retail business analysis, inventory planning, buying support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages for retail teams, central functions, and senior management; conduct daily performance analysis across EMEA regions, zones, boutiques, categories, segments, products, and SKUs
- Review replenishment targets, manage stock optimization, and execute rebalancing initiatives
- Support retail operations through inventory transfers, community engagement materials, and merchandising guidance to boutique teams
- Assist merchandisers in organizing and executing buying sessions, including data analysis, tool preparation, and order entry
- Coordinate collection launches and commercial campaigns; develop supporting communication materials and performance analyses
- Support boutique openings and retail events through inventory preparation, information dissemination, and performance monitoring
Qualifications
- Business school graduate or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, with particular confidence in PowerPoint
- Comfort with numerical data, statistics, and quantitative analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Rigorous execution with strong attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines
- Retail and/or merchandising experience preferred
