Christian Dior Couture in Paris seeks a Merchandising Business Analyst & Project Manager — Europe to lead regional merchandising analytics and cross‑functional projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact between the Merchandising team and external stakeholders across Europe, fostering alignment and harmonizing messages from the regional merchandising function.
  • Deliver weekly performance monitoring and category/country/store analyses, with particular emphasis on seasonal collection performance and actionable recommendations to optimise sell‑through.
  • Own monthly sales forecast management for all product universes (Best Estimate adjustments and governance) and contribute to budgetary exercises through product mix guidelines.
  • Define purchasing strategy and OTB levels (with emphasis on capsule collections) and lead cross‑category repricing initiatives.
  • Coordinate regional business reviews and prepare presentations for the Zone President and executive committees; propose and manage weekly Regional Committee agendas.
  • Design and implement processes to increase transparency and efficiency between central merchandising, regional teams and markets.
  • Coordinate transversal projects with Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain and Dior Academy (collection kick‑offs, pre‑sales, store openings, pop‑ups) and support Retail Development on product mix recommendations for design briefs.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects such as seasonal Resorts, Up projects, boutique openings and pop‑ups, and manage competition taskforce activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in merchandising, merchandise planning, retail analytics or consulting; 3–5 years preferred.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into commercial decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams across markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in management consulting or luxury fashion is a strong advantage.

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in merchandising, retail planning, business analysis or management consulting, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail environments. Demonstrated regional project coordination and forecasting ownership required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, fashion business, retail merchandising or a related discipline; advanced degree (MSc/MBA) or specialised training in retail analytics/merchandising is advantageous.
