Christian Dior Couture seeks Merchandising Assistant in Seoul, South Korea for Women's RTW & Shoes. Full-time, entry-level position with luxury retail experience required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support building initial allocation strategies for seasonal and permanent products to maximize sales and achieve targets
- Deliver key messages of each collection during Collection Training to retail teams
- Prepare Merchandising Map Books for every collection
- Manage trunk show samples by monitoring delivery and arranging rotation according to OTO schedule and Presales plan
- Partner with Supply Chain team to ensure optimal stock flow and maximize sales opportunities across seasons
- Work closely with Retail and E-Commerce teams to maximize sales and sell-through in line with global guidelines
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising team on product launches, new store openings, events, and monthly floor-sets
- Monitor sales and inventory, executing rebalancing actions to maximize sales and sell-through performance
- Support special events by planning product assortment and monitoring stock flow to achieve event targets
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for overall business and seasonal collections
- Identify key product trends, competitors' pricing strategies, and launch strategies
- Consolidate and deliver constructive feedback on product and collection performance
- Support seasonal buy process through sales analysis, product strategy development, and product opportunity identification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of merchandising experience in fashion and luxury brands
- Fashion-related educational background preferred
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- In-depth understanding of local fashion market and commercial acumen
- Mobility to undertake frequent domestic and overseas travel
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments
- Strong presentation skills for delivering product knowledge and styling guidance

Minimum 1 year of merchandising experience in fashion and luxury retail environments, with demonstrated understanding of buying, allocation, and sales reporting processes.
Education
Fashion-related educational background is preferred, though equivalent professional experience in merchandising may be considered.
