Merchandising Trainee (m/f/d) at Christian Dior Couture Head Office in Munich, Germany — one-year contract supporting Central and Eastern Europe merchandising operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for all product categories
  • Monitor and analyze daily business sales performance across regional markets
  • Support store stock requests and rebalance inventory based on store performance metrics
  • Coordinate product transfers within the Central and Eastern Europe region (DE, AT, CH, PL, CZ) and across broader European markets
  • Provide analytical feedback on collections performance and boutique metrics at market level
  • Collaborate with retail operations teams to execute initiatives designed to increase sales turnover
  • Implement action plans in coordination with cross-functional departments including Visual Merchandising, Training, and Marketing
  • Prepare comprehensive support materials for buying sessions, including sales reports, forecasting tools, and presentations for Store Managers

Qualifications

  • University degree with focus on Merchandising, business administration, or equivalent relevant field
  • First significant experience in an analytical role, ideally within Retail Merchandising or Business Analysis
  • Demonstrated passion for fashion and luxury industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in an additional language is advantageous
