Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and propose buying recommendations by boutique typology ahead of showrooms and support commercial decision‑making for the Women's Leather Goods category.
  • Ensure accurate capture of purchase commitments and data in the Buying Tool and coordinate with regional merchandisers to shape assortments and strategies.
  • Analyse showroom orders and weekly sales to produce actionable insights; maintain weekly reporting by product (skins, lines) and by region/boutique.
  • Monitor and track weekly deliveries with Supply Chain, escalate supply or delay risks, and contribute to stock controls and markdown recommendations.
  • Manage the permanent assortment lifecycle (introduction and discontinuation of SKUs) and prepare high‑end assortment recommendations for specific events.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses and detailed studies to support budget preparations, strategic notes and executive presentations.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence: follow competitor launches and market events, collect market‑specific needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Liaise regularly with Visual Merchandising to communicate business priorities and support guideline preparation for in‑store presentation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent from an engineering school, IEP or university.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in merchandising, assortment planning or buying within fashion or luxury leather goods with measurable results.
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with proven experience in sales reporting and assortment optimisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills, autonomy, proactivity and capacity to manage cross‑functional projects.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in French and English; strong presentation capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, commercial sensibility and a passion for luxury, fashion and retail.
