Christian Dior Couture seeks a Menswear Deputy Department Manager in London (Harrods) to lead sales, client development and team performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Department Manager in achieving commercial and operational targets for the Menswear concession at Harrods.
  • Lead by example to mentor, train and motivate the sales team, elevating selling techniques and client service standards.
  • Develop and implement local client development and retention strategies, targeting VVIC and Elite clientele.
  • Coordinate daily store operations: task delegation, stock ordering/management, loss-prevention and cash/credit procedures.
  • Build relationships with Head Office to report on product performance, provide market feedback and support merchandising decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure consistently high standards of housekeeping, visual display and boutique presentation.
  • Participate in recruitment, evaluation and development of team members and represent the Maison at client or public events when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury fashion retail, including prior Assistant Manager or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of men's ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain high-value clients (clienteling experience).
  • Strong leadership and people-development skills with a track record of managing an experienced team.
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building capabilities; passion for the Christian Dior brand.
  • Fluency in a second language preferred.
